So we have been in need of a good reason to finally get this blog up and running and it appears we have 2 good posts coming to you today with reasons why! First off we are writing this blog entry for a ShopDiscover blog promotion to win a Discover gift card. We want to tell you about our experience with ShopDiscover. We have used ShopDiscover several times to make internet purchases, but in this entry we are going to discuss the latest purchase that we made. I found a pair of shoes that I liked at Finish Line a couple of days ago. While I was trying them on, my sister told me that if I shopped through ShopDiscover that I would get 10% back on any purchase made at Finish Line. I liked the sound of that, so I told the sales associate that I would just wait on the shoes. I came home and seen that I had recently received a coupon in the mail from Finish Line, so I opened my Discover account and clicked on ShopDiscover, browsed to find Finish Line, and clicked 'Start Shopping'. From there I was taken to the Finish Line website. I searched around and found the shoes that I had previously tried on at the store. My wife, being the shopper that she is, also had to add 2 pairs of sandals to our cart. Finish Line had free shipping on all of the purchases we were making, so by the time we end up getting our 10% Cash back from the ShopDiscover program, we will end up with an awesome deal! ShopDiscover was very easy to use. We always look forward to opening our credit card statement and seeing the money that we will be getting back just from being a Discover Card user.
